Default Help with antique block quilt

These blocks were made by my grandmother and her auditor 50-60 years ago and I’m putting them together to make a quilt for my mother. I need some help. I am new to quilting and don’t know what to add to make it rectangle - what border design would go with the style? Perhaps something pieced with fabrics similar to the ones in the appliqué circles? Any advice?

Welcome. I'm sure some ideas would come if there was a picture -- it didn't post.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.
