    Hi!
I am about to start making a Bargello - any tips?? I am a little confused about doing the strip piecing, and doing tubes???
Are there any tutorials on it, and if so, can I get a link?

    Thanks!!
    Emily

Go to the main page and open the last topic at the bottom (All User-Defined Sections). Barb_MO has posted a wonderful tutorial there along with lots of photos.

Shhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone but I think they're hard to do!

That pesky quarter inch is REALLY important on Bargellos. And, fabric selection (colors) can really mess you up. The one I tried didn't have enough contrast between the colors so the Bargello "waves" were all but invisible.

So, shhhhhh! Promise not to tell anyone?

I love making them. They aren't really hard. Use the tute here and it will be a breeze.
