I generally figure binding is the last place I can put color on my quilt. Is the light purple the same as the framing of the blocks in the quilt top? If so, that is my first choice. Helps tie everything together and end it at the same time. If it's a close but not exact fabric I'd take the following into consideration.

Personally, I like the solid punctuation of the golden yellow especially next to the border print, but it is a rather "taste specific" sort of thing. If the quilt is for you and you like, sure no problem. For sale or to someone you don't know well I wouldn't do it.

I think the dark purple is a safe reasonable choice, it ends the quilt nicely and strongly without the punch of yellow.

I like the dark purple too. I'm a fan of dark colors for bindings. I feel it stops the eye and frames the quilt nicely.

I like the dark purple best. I try to do dark binding as it makes a nice frame and doesn’t get as dirty. Pretty top!

Another vote for dark purple, but then I like dark ouside borders that sort of frame the "inards". Oh, I didn't see Tartan's post! I agree.

Another vote for dark purple for all the reasons stated above. Beautiful quilt, by the way.
