    Default Help with block name

Fair Warning: This is going to be an irritating question ;-).

Either on Pinterest or Google Images, I saw a block alternating with a 54/40 or fight block. This alternating block looked greatly like a Jacob's Ladder except that the center squares looked like they were sort of overflowing the center. I thought I'd saved the block but for the life of me, I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm speaking of? If you don't know it's name, do you have a link? I am also having trouble picturing it.

I searched and searched online and even checked all of my block books. I can't find it again.

    Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the help. None of the three are what I had in mind, but they are beautiful quilts!

Without a link, it is difficult to help. Good Luck. Check your browsing history if you still have it.

Go to Google Image and do a search for 54/40 quilt block there might be some more.

I did that. Spent several hours trying to retrace my steps, to no avail.

I also tried my browser cache. But I found the block via a Google search where I branched out, and I could have navigated anywhere.

Someone on this board once posted the block. I have no idea which thread it was in. I remember people asking "what block is that?" It was kind of inttiguing.

Like I said, it's sort of a Jacob's Ladder, but where it looks like center squares multiplied and escaped.

Maybe the person who posted the block on the board at one point will see this and post it again!

Also, it's not a 54/40, but a block that goes nicely with a 54/40 as an alternating block. It helps form a nice secondary pattern, but where the star in the 54/40 don't disappear.
