Very pretty! I'd suggest a border at least the size of the cornerstones. Perhaps in a light/med. blue..

Really love the quilt, and the border. You must love red, I see. I think the verdict is out about your border. Just wanted to say it is stunning.

Love your quilt!! I agree with nativetexan, etc. on a narrow border. I would prefer red but audition a few colors. Perhaps making it 1/2 the size of the corner stones.

I'd do a red border then a white and finish with a red - small, medium then larger. Just MHO :-)

I think it needs a solid border to break up pattern and then I like the piano key

I agree with many that a smaller border before the block border may provide a resting place for eyes. The quilt is gorgeous so much to see as there are secondary and tertiary patterns made by the blocks. Great job

I really like the border you made and think it compliments the interior of your quilt. I don't think you need an inner solid border. It would divide the quilt from the border with a hard line. As you are showing it the border seems to float. Perhaps the binding in a solid appearing fabric could be its frame. Whichever concept you choose produce a lovely quilt.

Pretty quilt, nice border--maybe a small inner border.

I agree that you need another inner border. IMO, the border you have proposed is too dominant. I would make it smaller. To my eye, it takes over the pretty quilt.
