    Can't see too much of the quilt but I love stripes for borders-I think it looks great.

    I like your striped fabric, but not with that quilt. I think it takes your eye away from all the other beautiful fabrics. It seems that the border should kind of frame the quilt and draw it all together. Pretty quilt--I love red and black.

    I like the striped fabric for the border and then use a black binding. It will be gorgeous.

    Personally I don't care for the stripe border... it seems to take away from that beautiful quilt.

    I did a quilt recently with a striped border, but added a small solid inner border first. It turned out a lot better, the quilt top looked more framed with the solid inner border first. can't wait to see a finished quilt (or top!)

    Love the stripe... but for that quilt, I'd put on a plain colored border. Either red or black. I like your idea of a red one! I bet that would be beautiful and not take away from the quilt itself.
