    Default Help with border

    I make a new quilt but can't figure out what kind or color of border I need. Please help

    My idea for a border would be a solid to answer your question . Why do you need a border? Just bag out.

    Very pretty colors. Choose any one in a solid and it will work. Take it to the store or use your stash to try different colors to see which you like. IMHO I think I'd choose a yellow. But I do agree with Dottymo that a border isn't needed. It's up to your personal preference.

    I agree - i'm not sure a border is necessary.....I see a soft white actually.

    Your quilt is very pretty and fresh looking. If you know who is getting the quilt, you can pick out a border color. I think a pink solid would be a great choice, unless the quilt is for a man or boy. In that case, I'd use a royal blue or a deep green.
    It also depends on what size you'd like the quilt to be. Some styles of quilts look great without a border, and yours is in this category as well!
