It's gorgeous, no wonder she's in a hurry.

Your fabrics, each of them, will look great no matter where or what order you put them in.

Have you decided or have a leaning to what you want it to be in the end yet?

What do you think of either of these two ideas??? The pinwheels on the top and bottom and a plain small blue border down the side. (I don't want the quilt much wider than it already is) The on point will be harder for me to do but I think(???) I could figure it out
Sorry about the photo but DH has taken the kids camping and taken the decent camera.

Just my opinion, but I think the pinwheel blocks detract from the main quilt. Your eye just seems to lock on those little squares and you lose the awesome braids on the quilt. I think I would just use the plain colors, one wide section of green on top, one of purple on the bottom and then a border of blue all around.

Cool idea. I think to balance it a bit, I'd frame the braid with the fabric you choose to put around the pinwheels. I like them better straight on rather than on point. I'd also use the same amount on the top and bottom, maybe more random placed?

It goes without saying, it's your quilt and it's got to make you happy.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm going to chicken out and ask DD how she would like it after all it's her quilt. LOL.

I like the braid on it's own, I wish it was just a bit bigger.

I think the pinwheels are cute, but I don't think I'd use all of them only maybe 1/2. Quilt is very cute!!
