both quilts pictured are beautiful. I think you're right. i'll ask maybe her mom or just her.
they don't do any handwork, and are simply amazed at my jellyroll quilt I made for Christmas. they are befuddled when I make something for them. great to know someone loves what I make.

I agree. Ask her colors and give her a few houses for patterns. I love the two quilts pictured. I also love this neutral quilt. Can't get it to copy but put in neutral log cabin in advanced search and it comes up. It's the curved log cabin.

I would definitely ask. My nephew thinks that a "bed in a bag" is the way to go?! Will probably never make him a quilt because he wouldn't use it and would probably donate it. I do love him anyway but ....
