Rosie the "Ripper"

I would like to make a patriotic wall hanging with some kind of a medallion or small picture in the center and then borders of small blocks around it. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I know there must be patterns or ideas out there somewhere. I just can't seem to find them. I am putting my last hope in the board. I have complete faith in the wonderful folks that are here. Thanks so much.

When you do a Google search on medallion quilts and select 'pictures' you'll get a whole world of medallion quilts. I just did that this afternoon as I was looking for a certain setting.

I think you could find some ideas by Googling patriotic pre-printed panels or pillows. You could fussy cut elements out and add other fabrics?
