Default Help finding post of a bag/tote with buttons

There is a member of the board that posted several bags. I bookmarked it and the bookmark toolbar has disappeared and in spite of my best attempts, I cannot recover it yet. I need to be reminded of the post so I can find it. The bag featured three decorative buttons on the side of the purse. She had several posts with variations. It wasn't a bow tuck bag. It was very attractive and she even posted the directions on how to make it. I think it was her own design. Can anyone help me? I have searched buttons, totes, bags, purses, etc., and nothing is coming up. I know one of you will have the answer for me in minutes. Thank you.

Seems to me that also rings a bell. On tote had 3 buttons, one had 1 ... It also seems to me that it wasn't this site (which doesn't me much!) Hopefully someone will remember better than I.

The ONE thing I do know (I think) is that it was on the quilting board because I don't do much with other sites. Can't do much with a computer either apparently, but I think you are right. One had three buttons and there were several variations. Maybe I will google purses and an example will show up with a link. Thanks for answering.

If it is the one I am thinking of it was from recycled leather? Nope I was thinking of the ones done by Baconbit and it is under Leather purses.

I think you are looking for a post by cjtinks. I made this one from her tutorial: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...l-t269533.html

The bag is cute, but the link within this link is dead.

Does anyone have a working link?

The link that "himnherr" posted works. Good luck with your search.

This takes you to a link within the board which is wonderful. It shows the photo of the tote. Within that thread is a dead link to the pattern. Does anyone have a live link to the pattern? Thanks!

Ok, I searched cjtinkle. She's the one I think who made the tote you're looking for. You can search her posts, or articles and sift through them for the link to her tut. Her last activities on the QB was oct 2015 and it says she's banned. That's all I know.
