This was given to me, but as you can see, it has been handled, shelved, boxed, unboxed, etc. Really don't want to have to open and trim every strip, does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of some of the fuzz? Both sides look like this. I think I saw a posting about this problem long time ago but didn't retain the information. Thanks for any help you can offer.

if you are doing a jelly roll race with it, i'd just sew it as is with a generous seam allowance. the ravelling won't show that way. if it were mine, though, i'd take the time to trim each piece. maybe the previous tip would have been to use an electric hair trimmer to buzz off the fuzz?

I would probably just take a scissor and clip off the loose threads.

After that much shedding, i would measure the strips to see how wide the strips are now before using them for anything.

Thanks for the comments, but i just took the little flat scissors, pulled up the fuzz and snipped away. This is what came off one side! I came on to delete my posting, but time must have run out and here it will stay. LOL

I have been trimming scrap strips to make a some quilts. Would not be a big deal for me to stand and trim each strip. I have trimmed for several days.

Try running a lint roller over both ends of the jelly roll. It won't get them all but it will help.
