In my area, we don't have
24-7 stations any more, just regular shows for awhile and then paid commercials and then a lot of time doing the day, there are paid commericals.
Funny thing you can go down to the local shops and buy these so called paid commericals items.

So they are paying for their adds and we are paying a lot for our so called TV and getting less TV. Someone is making alot of money somewhere. Then they breakin to give something that is happening somewhere not necessarily your area. All the while having about 3 to 4 hrs in the am and then at noon only a half hour and then another 3 hrs in the evening. Then don't forget they have to interfer with programing again for what is going on in the world or (who struck john)

ALL WE WANT ARE QUILTING, SEWING, KNITTING CRAFT SHOWS AND GOOD OLE RUG HOOKING and I mean real rug hooking.

Here is the reply I got to my email to HGTV - I guess they would prefer that we watch reruns or use the net than change their programming.

    [Hello.

Thank you for your interest in seeing quilting programs return to HGTV's programming line-up. Feedback from our viewers is always appreciated, and we'll be happy to forward your suggestion to the appropriate department for review.

In the meantime, there are quite a number of Full Episodes in the Simply Quilts series available for viewing online as well as numerous quilting ideas found in our Handmade / Quilting section. Both links are provided below.

Lastly, feel free to check the ON TV section of hgtv.com periodically for programming updates.

    Best regards,

I agree --I'm so sick of people who refuse to buy a house because it dosen't have hard wood floors or granite countertops! With this economy do they think we all have billions to spend on redoing our homes? What about people who live in apts, etc! I gave up on HGTV!!!!

I jumped on the bandwagon and wrote HGTV requesting more sewing & quilting shows. Hope this works.
