    I can purchase the yellow brick road pattern for 5.99 is this a good deal or not. :roll: I am new to quilting and working with limited funds. I want to spend wisely. :XD:

    Most patterns are $8.00 to $12.00. I think you got a good deal.

    It is a good price. I got mine as part of a kit, but the going rate is $7-8. It's one of those patterns you will probably use more than once.

    I find that usually a book with a number of patterns is a better buy than a specific pattern. At Joann's or Amazaon or ebay, you can buy quilts books with 8 or 10 or 12 patterns for the price of maybe 2 individual patterns.

    Oftentimes books will give you several sizes for each pattern also.
