    Wow - you guys are the best! Special thanks to Bearisgrey for the artwork. I knew there was more math than just add 7/8 like with half square triangles, but couldn't remember what it was.
    All I remember from the instructions I had was to mark - I thought 1/4" in and draw the diagonal line When I saw the thing about 1/8 inch that part came back to me. I'm going to check out the Fons and Porter website too.

    Hope it helped. Sometimes I understand a drawing better than just a description.

    You are so right. I am a visual learner and that makes so much more sense than trying to imagine the words in my head.
