My mom's group is doing it in the black and batiks for a raffle quilt, but when I do mine I thin it will be in the brown

Look at book "String Quilt Revival ". They have some great ideas.

Do a search for "brown quilts" and click images. You'll get a ton. Any monochrome quilt will give you good ideas, for that matter.

A Jacob's Ladder could be done with brown and a contrasting second fabric.

Took some time to find the picture from my previous idea. Here's a picture.

So many great ideas. I knew I could count on you to help me. Now the problem is to decide which on to start with. I may have enough to make two different ones. Thank you all for all your ideas.
