Both are very pretty; my vote is for the second picture. Usually I'd go with the cat's choice but in this case I'll stand on my own.

#1. the white diagonal lines run right across the quilt, I like the movement it produces. Plus, Ms. Fuzzy Butt likes it, too. He messed up the 2nd one!

I like the 1st one the best. The white stars give it movement while the pink blocks give it calmness. Just the right balance between the two.

Hmmm.... After looking at them again, I think the 2nd one has just the right balance. The 1st one is more static; the 2nd one is more dynamic.

Guess this isn't much help to you!

p.s. I guess if I were in a nursing home I would prefer the more dynamic setting over calmness.

I really can't decide, but I feel I'm leaning a wee bit more toward #2---if it wasn't totally destroyed by the king of the hill there.

Dear Sahm4605: I like them both as well and it seems like the answers are not going to help too much in your decision since it is probably an even score for #1 and #2. Looks like kitty is an accomplished organizer of your pattern. :D

#2 for me. Both are very nice, I can understand how hard its going to be to make the decision.

I like the first one the best---second one looks too busy.
