Hi all. Don't you hate when you fall in love with a piece of fabric to only not be able to find it when you want more??? Ugh! I went back to my LQS and my friend there couldn't even remember who made it. :-( It is batik and it's not so pink, it has a lot of brown in it. I think the picture isn't the best but it's all I've got. Thanks in advance for any help!!!

I've done some looking online but can't come up with the exact pic you are showing. Is there any selvage where there might be some lettering or number?

Try posting the swatch on missingfabrics.com. They will put it on their web site. Quilt shops from all over check it and will contact you if they have some. I was the "designated watcher" when i worked at a quilt shop. We sent fabrics all over. It is worth a try.

You could also try Quiltshops.com. I tried a little while ago and was halfway through a bunch of batiks when my computer locked up and I had to sign on again.

    Beachbirdie,

If you send a swatch to these ladies, they will see if they have it in their huge supply and send it out to you. I believe I did see this fabric there last month when I was visiting there. They have told me before if I run into this problem, a swatch is easier for them to match up because of color variations.

It looks familiar. I have a bunch of fat 1/8s in batiks. They're packed for one more week (moving, exactly 7 days!) so I'll look when I unpack. Or would a fat 1/8 not help you at all? It's okay to pass :)
