    Default A few more ideas

How about port pillows for chemo patients, breast pillows for breast cancer patients, heart shaped pillows for heart surgery or seatbelt pillow to protect chest from the shoulder strap.

The Textile Advisors of Snohomish County (WA) makes large tote bags for foster children to carry their belongings. Apparently, the child's belongings are often put in a garbage bag when the child is moved from one home to another. The guild also makes flannel pajamas for foster kids.

Also, my sister and I made polar fleece hats in various sizes for the homeless shelters.

Our quilt guild made placemats for our local Meals on Wheels for the homebound. Most made them reversible so they can be used for multiple seasons. The recipients were really appreciative.

Pet beds for animal shelters make the shelters look homey and provides comfort to the animals.
They can be filled with fabric scraps or scraps of batting, etc.
