    Lurchers seem to be an obscure breed and I don't hold out any hope at all that you will find this fabric. I would consider a generic dog pattern instead. Perhaps you could do something personal about Lurchers on the back of the quilt where the signature would be. I haven't tried it myself, but photos printed on fabric seem to be common now- perhaps one of the owner's dog with a sentiment about the breed. I feel that would be very personal and unique.

    Good idea CIndy...espec the 'personal' part...! Maybe print off a picture of her baby or etc if she had more then one and make a personal quilt.Wouldn't that be fun and what a surprise!:)Just an idea..:)Skeat

    maybe the back could be faux (that's french for fake LOL) fur that sort of looks like lurcher-fur? :roll:
