I dont know why, lol, I am going to say this is most interesting, when i don't know what the heck you guys are talking about. lol.
Ok, you are going to do a quilt with kaleidoscopes/hexagons, and need a fabric with lurcher dogs. Never heard of those, but someone says a rare breed?
And BW is telling you to shave WHOSE dog, lol? won't be a shaggy dog story then.
You guys make me giggle, whether I get it all, or not...tee hee hee, snort, snort...heeheeheee

PS C a recap - I have avery good friend in England and I want to make her a lap quilt. I've just got into Kaleidoscopes (see Maxine Rosenthal book, One Block Wonders) and thought if I could find a fabric with lurchers on that would be great as she breeds them. They're a cross between greyhound or wolf/deer hound and collie. There's link to a pic somewhere up above! Anyway I've given up on lurchers and am now looking for just dogs! Trouble is, it has to be a certain kind of fabric and most websites don't tell you the size of the pattern repeat for example! Here's where it's a real pain to shop online. still, I'll persevere!

got to go look at that book...K, while your multiplying with kaleidoscope units, do you think you could multiply me, so i can do some of everything, lol...yeah, what fun, one for my housework, one for hubby's - "honey, come here ('s), another for grandbabies, one for getting on pc, and until I need more....one lucky one, for cave..... :P
sorry, got a bit into the fantasy there!!!
Now, I don't see why somebody doesn't have a lurcher on fabric, there's everything else out there, but problem is...even if someone did, it may be out of circulation now...since this is kaleidoscope, can't suggest, embroidery,...way too much work for that...I see your dilemma...sounds like you have been really grinding the old gears, to come up with a solution.
Maybe one lurcher in middle of kaleidoscope, with other doggie stuff in the points or spokes of the wheel...you get that, right?

By the way, BTW, a good old snort, just ain't the same, when muffled...try it...hubby will rush you to e.r.!   Don't make me pee myself, this early in the morning. oops, got to run, someone calling, right about now....hear it????
