I wouldn't try doing it without instructions. It can be very confusing at times. I would write to the company and ask about buying a new set of directions. I've made 3 and still have to go step by step to make one.

not sure if this helps? http://themomoo.blogspot.com/2012/09...onal-tote.html

The blogger refers to other sources that might be helpful? Not sure if this the same kit you refer to but I hope it might be helpful.

I like the looks of that tote, especially all the pockets & zippers. I really think you would have to be a genius to make one of these without the instructions. I just want to wish you good luck. I'd look hard for those instructions again. lol

I made one of these and it is very complicated and takes a great deal of time. Try to find someone with a set of instructions.

I moved recently, and so I'm constantly looking for things. Twice last week I spent hours looking for something, and when I found it I realized that I had looked right at it many times without recognizing it. I was so convinced that it was "lost in the move" that I just didn't see what was right in front of me. What I'm trying to say is, if you had it once, you probably still have it. Calm down and do a more methodical search. It will probably turn up in a place you already looked when you were flustered.

If you can find the author/ publisher - write them and explain the problem. Sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised.

Not even knowing the pattern, I would never attempt it without directions.

BTW - your sis-in-law will owe you big if you actually make this for her. It is a ton of work. I hope she's doing something for you in return, like painting your entire house.

The pattern is $10. I don't see the reason for all the stress, buy the pattern. http://thecreativethimble.com/shop/professional-tote/
