Could anyone please tell me how to use the acufeed 1/4 inch foot. When I attach it the fabric will not feed the fabric through at all. What am I doing wrong?? One hour into trying to sew on this machine - I HATE IT - I am soooo glad I kept my old machine. This one will probably be traded in very, very soon. Thank you for any help. Think I will need a degree in Janome to run this machine.

Probably not. How do I do that? Frustration at the max right now. I know there will be a learning curve but............need to take this machine to a class tomorrow and haven't had the time to take it out of the box this today. Thank you for the reply.

    try this video:

    presser feet

i assume it is like my 6600, in the back of the machine, behind the needle, is a lever, first, raise your foot, all the way up. next, there is lever attached to the accu feed foot, grab the accufeed and bring it out and down, under the foot you have attached already. once it is in place, it should work ...
you need to bring out your user manual.

OMG!! I am soooo impatient. I finally figured it out. Really not too difficult at all......I must learn patience.
Thank you both for the video links. I WILL learn how to use this machine. Sorry for such a stupid question.
    Thanks for the replies.

Thank you, I will not be giving up yet. Maybe I am just feeling a little guilty about buying it and very frustrated with myself. I have not been able to do any quilting since last April and tomorrow I am taking a class and wanted to be able to at least thread this machine. Guess I thought I could just sit down and sew............. LOL Thanks for the encouragement.
