Recently someone posted pictures of a red and black french braid table runner that they hung as a window treatment. I thought that I had bookmarked or saved the page, but I can not find it. I want to show it to my daughter as she is moving next month into her new house. I would love to make some for her as a house warming gift. Thanks in advance for any help.

What a great idea ... I'd like to see what was done, too!

That is really cool -- but, how do you hang it as a valance?

I'm not sure. Maybe a sleeve across the back to put a rod through. Or maybe some loops on the back and a rod goes through. Just a couple of options.

Or perhaps one of those velcro valance hangers?
