Default Help me choose a pattern

Looking for a lap size quilt pattern that is FQ friendly, as I have a Tula Pink bundle.

Something that does NOT look like a bunch of blocks sewn predictably to each other. Rather, it should be asymmetrical, or one large block, or otherwise not traditional.

Suitable for a mediocre piecer-not paper pieced.

Available for download-happy to pay for the right pattern, but don’t want a book or magazine.

Will show off the Tula prints well.

    Does such a thing exist?

Patio is my favorite for showcasing fabrics and is easy to put together and makes a wonderful size quilt.

I am finishing one for my daughter that is "non-traditional". She picked the pattern and the fabric. It has been a challenge for me as it had to be increased to 90x100 for her California King bed. I added 3 vertical rows and 25 inches to each row. It uses fat quarters and I am very pleased with how it has turned out. Here is a link to a google search for the pattern "Sergeant Pepper" by Abbey Lane Quilts.

I just purchased this pattern from Fat Quarter shop. I am a long arm quilter and one of my customers brought me in a quilt made from this pattern using traditional reproduction fabrics. I loved it so much I ordered it for myself. They have a lot of PDF patterns.

SummerBunting may fit the bill for not looking like standard quilting blocks

Regarding the PATIO PATTERN mentioned above. I would like to alert those who want to purchase it. On 12/18/21 I purchased this digital pattern online. The charge went thru immediately, and I still haven't received the digital pattern. I have tried contacting the business, but their contact form does not work. Their blog hasn't been updated for some time and they do not accept messages thru Twitter, their FB page has no way to message and has not been updated and there is no phone number to contact them.

Interested in how you quilted these. The rectangle looks to be pretty good size that it needs securing. I like your quilts and have 2 coordinating fabrics that this pattern would be a great one for them.
