    For sure I would go with the solids, but it's up to u how do feel about it. They are both real nice. Still I go with solids. :thumbup: :thumbup:

    I like #2 better. All your fabrics compliment the focus fabric so nicely! It's going to be beautiful!

    Number one. If you have some solid yellow and solid beige to complement those rows, it would give your eye a place to stop and rest and enjoy the rest of the blocks.

    I wouls go with the second one myself. The one without the solid blocks.

    Here is the finished quilt. I choose not to put in the solid blocks. I really like the colors of this quilt but I do not think that it does the pattern justice. The large blocks seem to be too pastel and the 9-patch blends in to much. Also I am using this on a bed and the pattern really gets losts when the quilt is laying down. I think that this pattern really needs to be made as a wall hanging and hung. I do like the colors on this one. I am going to make another on using a underwater pattern and will post when it is done.
