I have been asked by a very dear friend of mine if I would make a quilt for a man whom is head of the State Parks Dept. There are various colors that are included but I am thinking some various blocks of paper pieced trees, canoes, mountains, that kind of thing. Maybe with a couple of birds thrown in.
I need to get this done by November. Nice warning. It doesn't have to big too big. Not as big as a queen but bigger than a twin.
Anyhelp on finding patterns, blocks, suggestions would be wonderful.
    Thanks for all your help.

There are some lovely panels of wildlife, outdoor things, etc. Sometimes we make it way harder than we need to for non quilters.
You could use them and then some nice easy blocks around them.

I gave a panel baby quilts for a shower gift and it got more raves than the intricately pieced one by the baby's grandma. I was sort of embarrassed.
