Red and white quilts are classic! I don't think I've ever met a quilter who didn't want to make one.

Here are some pictures to get your creative juices flowing: http://images.google.com/images?q=re...ls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi

An Irish chain would be so cool with the plain red and the red polka dot.
    Wouldn't that be wild??

All of you have given me some great ideas. Thanks for sending the links to all those gorgeous quilts Chele. I did find a red and while irish chain and it had a red and white striped back. I also like what you other girls came up with and yes I think the red and white with the red and white polka dots would be WILD. Just my speed. I like the patriot idea too. I just finished one that I am going to enter in the fair. I haven't posted it yet. Didn't want to ruin the surprise. Anyway off I go to start yet another project. After seeing all those quilts, I remember why red is my favorite color.

If you embroider, another project might be making some redwork blocks to go with your fabric.

I love stripes in a bias binding; you could use up some of it that way!

All of you have come up with some different ideas. I was brain dead when I saw all of the stripes but I am beginning to blossom with new ideas now. I don't think I have ever see striped binding before, but it sounds pretty good. I think I might try some of all of your suggestions. Will let you all know what i come up with. In the bundles I also got some that have the US Army Seal and some of the US Navy Seal Blocks, I was wondring just what in the world I was going to do with those but I think I am drawing a Mental Picture. Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaa this sould be fun. I have just started embroidering so I think I might can work that in too. I bought a bunch of floss off e-bay. Of course I picked the biggest project to start on so it will take me quite some time I am afraid before it is done. It is a basket full of roses. I am not sure how it will turn out but I am giving it a whirl. Anyway thanks for all the great ideas. Keep them coming. I've got lots and lots of fabric to use up.
