Thank you so much for all of your help. I thought I was making it too long and I needed some confirmation on that. I did score two new fabrics to replace the two I was not real happy with.

I think your measurements sound good. I like extra to hang over the sides and like plenty to tuck pillows in. I also like the extra to tuck around me so no cold air gets in. Kinda like a a nice gentle hug all night:) Guess I got used to my gma's nice heavy comforters when I was a kid.
