I love Hot Wheels! Works great for a little boy quilt. Everything else I tried to come up with seemed to be for an older kid/adult.

Zero to Sixty (alluding to baby's age to grandpa's age as well as speed)

Little Red Corvette comes to mind for me! The one looks like a corvette to me.

Their daughter and son in law have wanted and tried to have a family for years and this little boy is an answer to many prayers. As you can see, There are classic cars on the front and vintage license plates on the back. I always give my quilts names or quotes along with the name of the recipient on the label and I'm having trouble coming up with something I like. I'm looking at lyrics or titles to Steppenwolf songs at the moment...'Heavy Metal Thunder' 'Magic Carpet Ride' ...etc, but those are motorcycle songs. Springsteen's 'Born to Run' is another option...you can see where I'm going and none of them feel right. Any poems, lyrics or quotes about wheels, cars, racing or similar topics would be gratefully appreciated. I'd put a short poem on the back even. Or....something totally off the wall that has nothing to do with cars...

Thanks for looking and I can't wait to see what you all suggest.
How about Queen's "I'm in love with my car"? Seems appropriate....
