Does anyone out there know of a fish applique pattern? I am thinking about a rainbow trout. You see I have this challenge fabric and that is what I see......a fish! I cannot get it out of my mind. I am not a fish person! Why is this happening? I am off to an all day Martha Nordstand applique class that starts at 8:30.

Here is the link for the pattern I bought 2 years ago at Road to California. It has a good sized trout. Hubby is ready to go fishing whenever he sees it.

http://www.critterpat.com/item.php?i...category_id=51 and this is what I made:

You can enlarge a reg. picture of your fish on your computer..print it out and either cut it out as is as a template or trace and cut out. If you trace..remember what direction you want your fish:). If the fish is going the wrong way....trace it from the backside...keep us posted on this project...sounds interesting! Skeat

When I do applique I use pre-school coloring pages. The site that I use most often is http://www.coloring.ws/. The site is called All About Coloring.

Wow! Thanks everone for all your websites and suggestions. I just need to make a decision now on what I am going to do. I knew all the great people on this board would come through for me. I still cannot believe I am going to do a Fish! This is way out of my comfort zone. I will post pic when it is done. It is not due till mid October
