    She's a member of this board. Look at some of her quilts:

    (look at the 5th one - it's really cute!)
    She also has one free horse pattern on her website.
    You can do needle turn, or just use raw edge applique using the paper backed fusible. Wouldn't that look cute with horse fabric borders and maybe some bandana material for sashing.

    Now I want to do a horse quilt!

    I also bought a kit a while back from Fons and Porter that had horses in it. The lady designed it also does all those crazy adorable cat fabrics but her name eludes me right now. Having a senior moment - AGAIN! LOL

    Go to www.quiltshops.com and search for horse You'll find a lot of horse fabric to choose from...some realistic....some fantasy
