Since it is now after Christmas, just curious what did you wind up making? Just in case you find yourself in the same situation there is a very simple quilt that Jeanne S. posted awhile ago. I made it and it took maybe a day to put together, I would link the one I made but don't know how. BTW Fat Quarter Shop you tube channel has almost the identical quilt I think she called it the cube quilt.
