I was considering a combination of Drunkard's Path but with 2 arcs, and a 4 patch block combo with circles in the alternate blocks. AllPeopleQuilt had the pattern - something about Southwest in the title. I think myu issue is that I don't believe batiks would look good in a traditional pattern - they need something more contemporary.
