Default Help--Need Reference to Shrinking a Quilt Block with Starch

Hi--I am making a quilt with 8-pointed (LeMoyne-style) stars and have 'rippley" triangles distorting the square. I can trim some of the distortion but I wanted to review a video someone on this board referenced several months back--have tried to find the reference, but havent succeeded. I wish I could remember more about the video (like the name of the demonstrator), but it had to do with using starch to shrink or square up a block. The demo was really impressive. Does this ring any bells? TIA

Yes, PeaceandJoy, this is it! A million thanks to you and to pinkberrykay for your efforts in locating the reference. Guess I need to hone my search skills, especially in the absence of reliable memory. Both videos are helpful, but I am doing an 8 pointed pieced star with 8 petals appliqued on top of the star and only the spray starch technique does the trick. Thanks again and best.

Thank you for the video- I had never thought about doing that - but it will help one day when I need to use this technique!
