Okay... I was going to do a reverse applique rose for a quilt swap, but it's too hard for me at the moment.

So I need a 'rose' block that will finish 9" square.... pieced is good.

Ideas? Help! lol!

Pieced? Maybe a PP one, but I am not sure how you would piece a rose, traditionally :D:D:D

The one above says it's for paper piecing, but looks like you could do it with a log cabin method pretty easy.

Great! I can do paper piecing like crazy. I had seen the ones on blocks galore site (or whatever it's called... )

That Rose in a Pot... looks like I could really make it fun and artzy, in a way thru the choice of fabrics. I can draft it out to make it bigger, add more 'pot' and a border to float it in. That will get me there....
