Default Help needed on Radiant Sun block

I have just finished sewing the blocks for the Radiant Sun quilt by Cara Gulati and cannot figure out which direction to press and which edges to trim. The directions just say there are no quilt police and the seams do not match, but one edge has a very, very narrow piece and I do not think trimming it would be good. If you have made this quilt, what worked for you? Curved seams were new to me and I do need to trim a bit. Should I press toward the wavy or the flat piece?
