Pics of my new baby :D My husband named her "Nomi" (from Janome)
So far, I've FMQ'd half a baby quilt (and almost wept it was soo nice) and tried out the alphabets (also great!) and a few of the other fancy stitches. I'm figuring out which ones to use for my first ever quilt label (for said baby quilt)!
Here she is...

Nomi is definitely a beauty! Isn't it wonderful how much nicer the extra harp space makes it! Oh I so happy and excited for you! The quilt is looking adorable. Can't wait to see you quilt label! You and Nomi have good time!

I'm thinking if she was told that a Juki would be better, its because the throat depth is larger on the Juki. The smaller the throat, the smaller width you can quilt on a frame. Jukis have a 9 in throat. I got about 6 inches of quilt space with mine. Congrats on your new baby! I see many many hours of happy sewing coming your way!
