I think you could get away with any color that is the same or super close to a color in the quilt. Because you have a lot of pink and blue my first choices would be a very very soft yellow or white muslin. I think much would depend on the look you're going for too...pale yellow would give it more of a vintage/antique look while white could go traditional/modern/vintage.

I agree with big sister. Once you see the various options next to the blocs, one will stand out for you.

I'll let the more experienced quilters advise you on your sashing. Just want to tell you that your blocks are beautiful.

I don't think I would use any of the colors in the blocks that would 'run into the sashing. It would look distorted in some areas. I like the idea of no sashing. Second choice if you really want sashing would be med/ dark pink like the stsatin stitch on the butterflies.

This is going to be very cute!

Another vote for cream, white or off-white with some colored cornerstones. Very pretty.

I think the pink on the little rose or maybe even try the little bit of golden and see how it looks. Very pretty quilt. Sue

Try that deeper pink that is in the butterfly wings.

The aqua in the top butterfly wing, or the dark pink around the same butterfly.

I think a narrow pastel, white or cream would look good. The squares are beautiful. I'd love to see a picture when it's finished!
