Are the strips woven with raw edges or do you press under the edges first?

    Hi Quilters,

Thanks to all of you for your great suggestions. I will hopefully have some time this weekend to work on this project. Denise your tumbling blocks are beautiful - you have given me the gentle push to see this to the end. It is my quest for the new year - Ha ha....
I appreciate hearing from you quilters and I will post a picture when I have finished the table runner.
I would love to hear from anyone who has had experience with this pattern or the tumbling block one as well. It is so nice to know that there is a great place to go with a question or problem.....
Thanks again to all of you
    Happy New Year
    Sue

    Hi Tumblebug...
The strips are cut, sewn, turned and pressed before the weaving begins. Once the "tubes" are done there is no sewing until it is time to sew the borders onto the table runner. It is a great project -

Looks like a 7 Sisters pattern that I did a while back. Let me know what your problem is and I'll try to help as much as I can.
