    Default Help with octagon kaleidascope blocks

    I have looked and looked and cannot find what degree I should use to cut my triangles for the 8 section kaleidascope blocks. Any suggestions? Helppppppp!! Please.

    Full circle is 360° ... so if you're wanting 8 equal parts, that'd be 360°/8 = 45°.

    Yep, 45 degrees. Another method is know ing that a 4 sided object has 90 degrees, so a figure with multiple of 4 would have the number of sides likewise divided by that number.
    4 sides = 90 degrees
    8 sides = 45 degrees
    16 sides = 22.5 degrees.
    etc.

    The really sad thing for me today is that I even had the 90 degree number and STILL couldn't come up with the 45. Does that tell you a little about what it's like to live in the fog?
