My son and his wife want an artic baby theme for their nursery. I am looking for some cute artic babies, ie: penguins, polar bears, ect. I would appreciate any suggestions that you all might have to come up with an awesome quilt, bumper pads ect.

Welcome to the board from Southern California!

I know there was a fabric line out there called "Polar Opposites" that had polar bears and penguins on it.

I have seen quite a few fabrics over the years with Polar bears, I have collected some for my DD#2

I have also seen several penguin fabrics. I even collected a fabric that had glaciers on it.

This site has beautiful fabrics. You'll have to do a google search on which sites sell them:

Scroll all the way to the bottom.

Keep in mind that bumper pads should not go in a crib. It increases the risk of SIDS. Good luck with your search! If it were me, I would do it with applique, rather than themed fabrics.

    Welcome to the board!

Thanks for all the feedback. I am planning on doing the quilt in applique. I should have said that I am looking for patterns, coloring books ect of the polar babies . I am also looking for some design ideas. Right now I am thinking the baby animals on glaciers and snow with maybe an igloo and an eskimo child. I know what I like when I see it but I'm not good at coming up with design ideas.

Thanks. I can't believe how many responses I have gotten and so quickly. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I have found some great sites I wouldn't have known about otherwise.
