Narrow black with a blue color like the sunglasses, the other dark borders distract your cool cats.......Use back only.

I love cats, and I love this quilt!! I vote for the circles, though I really think that any of your ideas would look good. My son, who was reading over my shoulder, says he votes for no borders, that it stands well on its own. No, he's not a quilter, though he is an artist. (adult son....he normally tells me I don't need borders either. I, however, like borders. )

I would choose a colour from the quilt itself, preferably the blue of the sun glasses.

the I Love My Cat border would be nice if wider. if not, the solid would be fine. such cute cats!!!

The black strip with the bright color. It doesn't distract or compete with the cute cats. It is also a place for your "eyes" to find rest in a busy pattern. jmho... Great cat quilt. My DB would love it!!

Well...I made my decision...I chose the I ♥ My Cat. Mostly because I have too much of that one fabric. I agree that the plain color was a good choice and for the reasons some stated...it doesn't compete with the design. However...that meant buying more fabric and I didn't want to go to the store again. I will post a picture after it is quilted.

Thank you ALL for you opinions! It really helps to hear what you say
