First of all, I love, love your cat quilt, and the uniqueness of it, but I honestly don't think any of these border set-ups will do justice to the quilt. Since there is a lot of black in the sun glasses, the black border certainly works, but having an outer border of the green first doesn't look right to my eye, but of course, it is a continuation of the strips in the quilt. I think leaving the green border off and just putting one of the blacks next to the quilt would be good, or if you leave the outer green on, maybe use a wider black border?

Can you make the "I love my cats" border wider so you can get the whole phrase in there?

It's an adorable quilt! I think all of the borders are workable but I think I would go with the narrow black, the solid bright pink and then bind in the neat multi-dots.

I vote for 4. It carries through with the birght color used for the cats.

Love the cats, got two of them. I like the black with the dots.

I think I would use the printed "love my cats" fabric for a large border and put a slim black border in between.
