How about hand stitching a blind stitch along the seam line?

I have used invisible ladder stitch to fix a problem of unmatched points in an otherwise finished top. It's really easier than trying to do it with the machine, even when there's no quilting yet, and there's no worry about stiffness. If you can crease the line you want to sew with an iron and starch, you'll have an easier time putting the stitches right where you want them. (If you have polyester batt, you probably should not iron!) If you are not familiar with ladder stitch, here's a tutorial on this site: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-40083-1.htm

I just realized this is the same as the ladder stitch I just posted about. It's great for this purpose.

I would use stitch witchery & than slip stitch it, to make sure it doesn't unravel anymore.

Ditto the idea for slipstitching. Use the same color thread as fabric and use lots of tiny stitches....and if you need to "baste", rubber cement doesn't wash out and stays soft. It dry cleans out only.

Me, too! Just hand stitch it, maybe add a little something inside to firm it up. Every quilt must have a mistake-- there's yours!

Fabric-Tac works great, used it many times. Or Liquid Stitch (wait until dry to iron and washable after it dries.
