    My opinion, since the dogs in the blocks have a direction, the ones in the border should face the same way. Otherwise, it will look like that strip is upside down.

    Boooo--to the poster who commented about the "border" collie. Cute!

    I agree. since this quilt has a definite top and bottom, point all the dog faces so the dogs are sitting looking at you.

    You can order dog prints online from http://www.hotdiggitydog.com/ They have hundreds of different dog and cat prints plus other animals. They even have quilt squares.

    I vote for dogs down since in the main body of the quilt they are facing down. Continuity. Cute idea of the border collie.

    I saw this fabric at JoAnn's just the other day (4/1/10)
    This quilt is adorable. I love it. I was looking at that material, thinking how cute it is -- I have a Westie, had a Boston terrier when I was growing up -- now I think I may get some to make a quilt. It's really cute.
