I love my 6600, thought about trading up for the throat size on the 7700 but couldn't justify the price difference. Try them both and see which one you like the "feel" of better.

Thank you everyone for the input. I still haven't bought a machine! I have looked at so many now it's a little confusing. I recently looked at a Brother Laura Ashley NX-2000, and it was nice. But, the search goes on...
