In th red You could do a cross hatch using the corners of the white to make your first row of stitching (leaving space between the corners and the stitching) and then space 3, 4, 5 inches whatever to fill in the space. Maybe do the feather and flower design in the white spaces then or just big flowers in the bigger white spaces and a serpentine in the narrow white strips. You can do something simllar to a daisy fmq really easy with little or no markings.
