My daughter does a meandering effect with a few loops every so often looks great on almost and quilt. The loops are kinda like long hand e's.

With some much prominent geometry, try making your meandering a little loopy or swirls, maybe a few small flowers.

I can not even express what this feedback means to me!! Thank you so much. The making of the 3D pinwheel you can find if you search: 3D pinwheel, how many layers into one seam. Sorry I dont know how to make a link.....

I am really working my but off on this one and the picture shows how far I got today.
As suggested I will try the swirl with the according colors on each pinwheel, sorry dont know anymore who recommended that and on the pyramid border I will try what Katier showed me on HST.

    thanks so much Katier

I just try to fill in with accuracy where I lack from talent  Some kind of swiss precision.
Did so much of stiching and undoing today knowing that only quilters can tell the difference but I only do want your approval

First off this is a gorgeous quilt you have done a marvelous job of piecing it, and it is going to be very loved.

I would first stitch in the ditch around all the blocks, then quilt (meander around all the back ground(things you don't want to stick out) kind of densely. Like the bg of the fairies, and in the pin wheels do one color meandered, leave the other unquilted. The border pinwheels leave unquilted and meander in the back ground. Maybe a leaf vine in the thin solid borders, or just leave them outlined.

Whatever you do it will be beautiful. Enjoy the process.

    Don't forget to label it.
