That is a lucky baby who gets that quilt. You did a great job, it is beautiful. Love it! You could do QID in the center and squigleys on the rest. Any way you do it will be fine.

Did so much of stiching and undoing today knowing that only quilters can tell the difference but I only do want your approval
Don't forget to post some updated pics! You're doing great!

This babyblanket will be the first quilt I will give away outside of the family and I want it to be good, as I really had a lot of work so far.

If I would do FMQ do I have to make a different pattern on the borders or does all over pattern means it is made all over? What (easy) pattern would you make on it?
Having not much experience with FMQ should I better go with QID?
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi, love the quilt. so cheerful. especially the border ! this is a great quilt for SID.even easier is the serpentine stitch over the
seams. fast, cute for a kid. not too wide. you will find that FM all over takes much more time than doing the straight seams. with all the piecing, there are so many seams you could choose, just so you quilt according to the batting suggestions of width between lines. for kids quilts, I always make sure I am no more than 4 inches apart, but just go with your block size. that can change all over the quilt. use your walking foot. smitty
